Gady Goldsobel

Liaison for Pre-Incubation

Gady identifies early-stage academic projects with strong innovation potential and helps position them for success within the CLIC program. He supports teams through key aspects of early development—including grant strategy, intellectual property readiness, and contracting—and coordinates pre-incubation activities. Once teams are fully prepared, he transitions them for onboarding and evaluation within the incubator. With a scientific background in Bioinformatics and Biophysics,

Gady brings over a decade of experience across diverse settings—including a law firm, a technology incubator, academic institutions, startups and biotech companies. He has worked with projects at every stage: from shaping initial ideas and securing early funding, to building IP strategies and negotiating deals. His expertise spans from feasibility assessments of early projects to successful scientific advice procedures for late stage clinical projects and involvement in technology and patent disputes of marketed products. This breadth of experience gives him a deep understanding of both the scientific and strategic dimensions of innovation, making him a trusted guide for CLIC scientists navigating the path from lab bench to real-world impact.
