Individual Professorship Appointment Coaching for Women Scientists

The coaching focuses on targeted preparation for appointment procedures at German or international universities:

• If you are planning to apply for a professorship in the next 6-12 months, you can use the coaching to prepare for this and, for example, receive advice and feedback on your application documents including research and teaching concept.
• If you have already received an invitation to the hearing, we can discuss in the coaching e.g. the strategic orientation and presentation of your talk and prepare how to deal with challenging questions in the interview.

Before the coaching, you will receive documents to help you prepare. In addition, the coach will you about your previous experience and your concrete concerns for the coaching with a small questionnaire in order to be able to prepare herself accordingly.

Coaching is a professional and process-oriented counselling method that offers space for all topics and questions related to one’s professional role and professional identity and is based on absolute confidentiality. The focus is not on general aspects of personal development, but on targeted competence and strategy development in the context academia.

Target group:
Women Scientists from BIH and Charité who are currently applying for a professorship position and want get feedback or prepare themselves for the hearing.
