    Tumor diagnostics: AI model detects more than 170 types of cancer

    Translational research with immediate impact: A group around Dr. Sören Lukassen and colleagues developed an AI model that can quickly and reliably detect the epigenetic finger print of tumors in tissue samples or from body fluids. With this a diagnosis is possible without a biopsy, which can be risky e.g. with a brain tumor.
