Abstract

The organoid technology has been rapidly adopted by a broad number of laboratories worldwide. It provides a unique model system to study development, tissue homeostasis, regeneration, tissue repair and disease mechanisms. This technological revolution in biology has opened new opportunities across a wide range of fields.
