The 3 Rs of Tissue Repair: Replace – Restore – Rejuvenate

We cordially invite you to join the second BIH Symposium that intends to explore mechanisms of in situ tissue repair - from molecules to organs - highlighting the emerging concept that health and disease span a continuum of decreasing repair capacities. New avenues for disease treatment hinge on understanding and modulating the mechanisms governing tissue repair. Learning from and harnessing the body's natural repair mechanisms will guide the development of advanced-therapy medicinal products and of selective replacement and rejuvenation strategies.

Confirmed speakers are: Kristin Baldwin (TSRI, USA)
René Bernards (NKI, Netherlands)
Mina J. Bissell (LBNL, USA)
Don Cleveland (UCSD, USA)
Maike Sander (UCSD, USA)
