About Virchow 2.0

Virchow 2.0 is a growing research and innovation network in the German capital region aiming to build a completely novel biomedical AI innovation ecosystem for the implementation of cell-based interceptive medicine in Berlin-Brandenburg as part of the Clusters4Future program.

About Clusters4Future

The Clusters4Future program is an initiative from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and seeks to strengthen knowledge and technology transfer through an open-topic nationwide competition under the umbrella of the High-Tech Strategy 2025. The BMBF has selected the best 15 among 117 proposals for future regional innovation networks to be further developed in a 6-month conception phase. The only finalist from Berlin is Virchow 2.0 with its core partners the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC), Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Berlin Institute of Health at Charité (BIH), Zuse Institute Berlin (ZIB) and the Berlin Institute for the Foundations of Learning and Data (BIFOLD).
