The I4H pilot program is a new initiative of the Stiftung Charité and SPARK Berlin and is intended to support inventors in further developing an idea through a two-stage program. In Phase 1, inventors and interdisciplinary teams will participate in an intensive three-month educational incubator using an interactive workshop format to build strong teams around innovative solutions that can change clinical practice. In Phase 2, which will last 12 to maximum 18 months, outstanding inventors will participate in a SPARK Berlin-supported program to develop a strong proof of principle for the project through project management and milestone-based activities. Each clinical indication will be considered.
