The success of research and its benefit to society through the application of results in practice is enhanced by networking and collaboration. The BIH Biomedical Innovation Academy's program data show that BIH Charité (Digital) Clinician Scientist Program fellows have already very successfully established international contacts and are active in global networks. In order to intensify these relevant networking activities, Internationalization Grants will be used to enable collaboration with international experts on joint projects.
The Stiftung Charité will provide 20 Internationalization Grants (four grants per year of 5,000 euros each) to intensify the collaboration of fellows with international experts in the context of cooperation projects.
The aims of the Internationalization Grants is to intensify international cooperation and to work together on joint projects “side by side” - either outbound (scientist to the partner laboratory abroad) or inbound (visit of the external partner to the home laboratory).
