Representatives of university medicine and medical faculties, non-university research institutions, scientific organisations and sponsors, professional associations as well as representatives from the relevant ministries are invited to the symposium.
The symposium is being held on the occasion of the publication of "Recommendations for the Promotion of Translational Research in University Medicine" by the DFG Senate Commission for Fundamental Issues in Clinical Research in September 2019. Topics of particular importance for translational research in university medicine will be discussed:

- Translational infrastructures
- Value of Translation - Translational Incentives
The symposium starts on 8 October 2019 at 11:00 am with a snack and ends at 5:00 pm.
