TransferAllianz presents 3-point plan for greater technology transfer
The TransferAllianz e.V. has published a position paper that is intended to provide the new federal government with impulses for optimal transfer promotion in Germany. Three specific measures are intended to support knowledge and technology transfer in Germany and strengthen Germany as a location for innovation.

Although Germany is excellent in research, it lags behind countries such as the USA and China when it comes to the utilization of innovations. Too few research results are licensed to companies and start-ups and transferred into innovative products, technologies or services.
The TransferAllianz's so-called 3-Point-Plan Transfer includes recommendations on the use of institutional grants “Five percent for transfer & innovation”, on a “Future contract for transfer & innovation” and on a “Future Ministry for Science, Innovation and Digital Affairs”.
By implementing the 3-point plan, the TransferAllianz aims to ensure that Germany plays a leading role in the transfer of innovative ideas from science to application. German scientific institutions have the potential to do this. The task now is to exploit this potential together.
Charité BIH Innovation (CBI) - the joint technology transfer of Charité and BIH - and the TransferAllianz are network partners in professional exchange and jointly discuss current developments in transfer activities in Germany. The CBI fully supports the measures proposed. Together, we strive to further develop the innovation potential of Charité and BIH so that more innovations benefit patients.
