The symposium will explore the past 25 years of research on human pluripotent stem cells from basic understanding of pluripotency to clinical applications in cell based therapy and disease modelling.

Jonathan Kimmelman is James McGill Professor in the Department of Equity, Ethics and Policy at McGill University. His research centres on the ethics, policy and science of drug development.
