In order to further advance new therapies and existing technologies, we need to understand cell differentiation and its molecular characterization even better. Identifying new approaches in the field of regenerative medicine through our own research - this is a central pillar of our field. To this end, we investigate the molecular causes of genetic diseases using various technologies of genome analysis, epigenome analysis and genome editing as well as the generation of cell and mouse models of diseases.
