Terminate NB: From Cancer DiagnOMICS to Precision Medicine: Model Neuroblastoma

The rise of high-throughput technologies and systems medicine strategies to comprehensively assessand interpret networks of tumor DNA, RNA and proteins has fueled efforts to tailor medical care forindividual cancer patients, including the devastating childhood tumor, neuroblastoma (NB). The central research goal of this cross-disciplinary project led by Prof. Angelika Eggert (Charité) and Prof. Matthias Selbach (MDC) is to identify and understand core signaling networks controlling hallmarks of cancer in highly aggressive NB cells and their microenvironment, which finally lead to treatment failure and relapse.
