Research sections of the Berlin Institute of Health

The Berlin Institute of Health organizes its research into four sections. Each section pursues its own goals and key areas, to which the research centers and working groups are committed with their excellent work, and contributes to the BIH mission of translational research.

Translational Sciences and Applications (TSA)

TSA team members develop and implent new approaches for the translation of quality-assured research results, involving all stakeholder interests.

Exploratory Diagnostic Sciences (EDS)

EDS serves as a central hub for technology development in omics and research activities in genomics, translational and regenerative immunology, and vascular biomedicine.

Medical and Health Data Sciences (MHDS)

With the goal of beneficial, secure, and interoperable health data networking, the Section represents all relevant areas of data-driven health research.
