QUEST Grant for Patient & Stakeholder Engagement (CLOSED)

Early active involvement of patients and other stakeholders can increase the relevance of research. For this purpose, the BIH QUEST Center funds the active involvement of patients already in the planning phase of a study. All scientists at BIH and Charité are eligible to apply.

The QUEST 1,000 € Open Data Award (CLOSED)

Make your data FAIR - Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Re-usable!

The QUEST Center strives to make relevant research data findable, accessible, interoperable and re-useable (‘FAIR’).

QUEST is offering this award of 1,000 € each to first/last/corresponding BIH, MDC or Charité authors of research papers which have unconditionally shared their original data by citing them in the references of the paper via the persistent identifier of an open repository containing the annotated data. Basic, translational as well as clinical studies are eligible.

The QUEST Replication Call (CLOSED)

The BIH Center for Transforming Biomedical Research invited proposals for projects that aim to replicate scientific findings. The call was addressed to researchers at BIH, Charité and MDC.

The QUEST - Protected Writing Time Program (CLOSED)

The QUEST - Protected Writing Time Programme includes the 3-month (consecutive) exemption from clinical duties for the completion of an initial application to the German Research Foundation (DFG).

The programme is carried out in cooperation with the Research Division of the Charité. It is aimed at doctors of the Charité who are currently in patient care. Candidates are selected on an ongoing basis. Up to 8 exemptions can be granted for 2018/19 (pilot phase, ratio of women : men = 1 : 1).
