On 31 January 2020 Professor Hans-Dieter Volk, Spokesman of the BIH Center for Regenerative Therapies (BCRT) and Head of the Institute of Medical Immunology at the Charité, will give a lecture on "Immunological Challenges of Regenerative Therapies - what, why, how?" as part of the BIH lecture series "Frontiers in Translational Medicine". He will address the particular challenges that regenerative therapies face in terms of immune response. How can the immune response be modulated? How to prevent rejection?
