BIH Core Units
Our state-of-the-art research infrastructures provide scientists with access to key technologies for translational and systems medicine research. In addition to technological services, the BIH Core Units offer project consulting, independent use of instruments and user trainings. To expand their service portfolios in line with the demand, the Core Units develop new technologies and methods in collaboration with scientific working groups.
The service portfolios of our Core Units are complemented by offerings of the Charité and MDC, which BIH scientists can use on an equal basis. Discovery and booking of the Core Units services of BIH, Charité and MDC is possible via the portal Open IRIS. Price lists and terms of cooperation are available on the individual websites of the Core Units, or upon request.
All Core Units required to realize a project should be consulted during the planning phase to ensure appropriate experimental design, sufficient capacity, and consideration of costs, for example, when applying for external funding.
