Dr. med. Jan Adriaan Graw, MHBA from the Department of Anesthesiology and Operative Intensive Care Medicine, Charité Campus Mitte and Campus Virchow-Klinikum and alumnus of the BIH Charité Clinician Scientist Programm was appointed as Professor of Operative Intensive Care Medicine in the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (Director: Prof. Dr. med. B. Jungwirth) at the Medical Faculty of University of Ulm on September 1st, 2022. Dr. Graw´s research and academic interests focus on translational research in acute respiratory failure, therapy with blood products and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and hemolysis. Additionally, Dr. Graw will care for critically ill patients and their families as Medical Director of Interdisciplinary Surgical Intensive Care at the Ulm University Medical Center.
