The SPARK-BIH team thanks all applicants and reviewers who took part in our 2023 Call and pitch session, which took place in September in Berlin. It was great to meet in persona and learn about outstanding translational projects and the people behind them.

SPARK-BIH welcomes 12 new projects to the program
Again, this year the SPARK-BIH funding and mentoring program motivated many scientists and clinicians from Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the Berlin Institute of Health at Charité (BIH) to submit their translational project proposals in the fields of pharma, diagnostics and medtech. The applicants presented their proposals to an expert jury, which selected 12 outstanding projects to join the SPARK-BIH program of Charité BIH Innovation. These new teams will receive milestone-based funding over a period of up to two years as well as mentoring and access to an international network of SPARK advisors.
