Core data set of the Medical Informatics Initiative

The heterogeneity of data in patient care creates hurdles that can be overcome with interoperable solutions. Patient data originating from different clinical application systems can be unstructured and differ in terms of scope, data formats and data content.

The Medical Informatics Initiative has therefore developed a core data set that forms a format template for different use cases and is intended for use in university hospitals throughout Germany.
