Proteomics facilitates comprehensive analysis of the protein composition (the proteome) in cells, tissues, or body fluids such as blood, cerebrospinal fluid, or urine. Insights gained from proteomics data have significantly advanced our understanding of disease mechanisms, drug-target interactions, and the discovery of predictive and diagnostic biomarkers.

The BIH Proteomics core unit is jointly operated with the Proteomics Technology Platform at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) to combine resources for continuous proteomics technology development and research projects within the privileged partnership of the BIH and MDC.

Our range of high-throughput technologies includes mass spectrometry as well as targeted Olink analyses.

The unit is accessible to all scientists of the BIH, Charité and MDC for proteomics service projects. Please see our getting started with proteomics section.

We look forward to working with you and supporting your research!
