Workshops for ERA-NET NEURON grant recipients

For researchers funded by ERA-NET NEURON, we offer a series of workshops on quality and transparency in preclinical and clinical research.

In a series of talks, we introduce different aspects that should be considered during study planning. Topics covered include internal validity, external validity, translational validity as well as reliability.

As participants bring their own projects, a large amount of time is dedicated to working in small groups and individual project counseling. Participants discuss ways and tools to implement randomization, blinding, systematic heterogenization, and how to determine the sample size under given ethical and practical constraints.
