Ida Beerhalter is Co-head of IOME, a private investment partnership of women principals from the Gulf region. Additionally, Mrs Beerhalter serves as Member of the Board, Trustee, Advisor, and Expert to various for-profit and not-for-profit organisations around the globe (amongst others Astia USA, Omnia Strategy UK,  WIP – Women in Parliaments Global Forum Switzerland, Bellwald Partner GmbH Switzerland, Impact Investment Partners LLP UK, MedXperts Germany, Yunus Social Business GmbH Germany, Social Business Earth Switzerland, First Light Trust UK, TBLI Group The Netherlands, Charité Foundation Summit Germany). She is specialised in a wide range of topics including, social business, entrepreneurship, impact investment, gender inclusiveness, women empowerment, investment in emerging markets, wealth management, family governance and succession planning. At the SPARK Educational Forum on January 10, 2017, she will give the following lectures:

> Women in leadership positions:

Still today, few women make it to (and stay at) the top management positions.
In this presentation, reasons for why this is the case and solutions which might contribute to change it will be discussed.
The importance of women in leadership teams will be reviewed, including differences in team structures and reasons why an increasing numbers of investors only invest in mixed teams.

> Pitching - the do’s and don’ts

In her role as an investor, Ida Beerhalter, is well acquainted with pitches.
In this interactive session, she will give us insights from the investor’s perspective on what makes a good pitch and what should be avoided.
