Open Sequencing Technologies

In collaboration with 15 different institutes in Europe, Charité/BIH forms a consortium of excellent scientists specialised in next-generation sequencing with the goal to facilitate and also distribute their state-of-the-art methods to academic labs and industry, worldwide. EASI-Genomics is an European Union Horizon 2020 infrastructure project (RIA) with a total budget of 10 million € that assume to handle between 150 and 300 projects over a period of four years (started in 2019). In particular, Charité/BIH is involved in technology watch and the development of single cell technologies and imaging.
