What is a health hackathon?

It is an event in which people of diverse backgrounds such as clinicians, scientists, engineers, designers, software developers, business people, problem solvers, and patients join forces in one intense, fun-filled weekend to develop solutions that address actual challenges in healthcare today.

At the hackathon you will form teams, collaborate closely within a limited time frame, and focus on a specific challenge in healthcare to come up with innovative and ambitious ideas and solutions. All teams will participate in a pitch and present their solutions. Top teams will each be awarded with prizes including cash and invitations to participate in continued mentoring. Participation is free. However, you need to apply and be registered as spots are limited.
