The Responsible PrecliniX (RPX) team supports researchers in generating robust and reproducible evidence for preclinical studies, paving the way for successful clinical translation. The team offers expertise in study design, ethical applications, and quality assurance to ensure that preclinical research meets the highest standards.
As part of the Charité network Research with Animals, RPX works alongside experts dedicated to responsible animal research. The team collaborates closely with units such as the Charité Facility for Experimental Medicine (FEM), the Regulatory Support Unit (RSU) and SPARK-BIH, strengthening integration within the BIH ecosystem. These partnerships enable comprehensive support for researchers, bridging the gap between preclinical discoveries and clinical advancements.
In addition, RPX conducts meta-research to identify gaps, constraints, success indicators, and methods to improve research rigor and reliability.
The goal is to empower researchers with tools, connections, and best practices that enhance the reliability and impact of their work toward patient benefit. Further details can be found here.
