Fellow of the Advanced Clinician Scientist Pilot Program appointed to Heisenberg Professor

The participant of the BIH Charité Advanced Clinician Scientist Pilot Program Prof. Dr. med. Mirjam Stahl from the Department of Pediatric Respiratory Medicine, Immunology and Critical Care Medicine and head of the Cystic Fibrosis Section and the Christiane Herzog Center Berlin received the call to the W2 professorship "Translational Pediatric Pneumology" (DFG Heisenberg Professorship). Her focus is on the development of non-invasive, sensitive methods to detect early lung changes. Prof. Stahl will work on the identification of biomarkers and risk factors in patient cohorts and their use to improve diagnostics and develop new therapeutic strategies in cystic fibrosis.
