Central Website of the National Strategy for Gene- and Cell-based Therapies Now Online
As part of the National Strategy for Gene- and Cell-based Therapies (GCT), a new central web platform has been launched. The website provides structured information about aim and topics of the initiative as well as contributing stakeholders and serves as a central point of access for researchers, healthcare professionals, industry, policymakers, and the public.
A strong emphasis is placed on co-creation with patient representatives, scientists, industry partners, and communication experts. Content is continuously developed and maintained by the associated working groups.
The platform includes:
- An overview of the aim and topics of the initiative as well as contributing stakeholders
- An interactive GCT atlas
- Information about the regulatory support unit offering advice for ATMP products
- An overview about funding programs as part of the National Strategy GCT
The webpages aim is to enhance transparency, foster collaboration, and promote the development and application of GCT in Germany.
