Workshop on Nanoparticle Characterization
State-of the art methodology overview, several live device demonstrations and practical sessions, where you may measure your own samples.
Dear Colleagues,
The Gossen Lab would like to invite you to a workshop on Lipid Nanoparticle Characterization.
We will focus on mRNA-Lipidnanoparticles and Biophysical Characterization of Viral and Lipid-Based Vaccines and Therapeutics.
Agenda
- 9:00 am: Biophysical characterization of viral and lipid-based vectors for vaccines and therapeutics with light scattering and calorimetric techniques (DLS, ELS, NTA, ITC, GCI, DSC, SEC, SAXS)
- 10:00 am: Analytical characterization of LNP vectors – quality control (size and concentration), LNP manufacturing
- 10:45 am: Break
- 11:00 am: Case studies – DLS and DSC (CureVac, Particle Metrics)
- 11:45 am: Lunch
- 1:00 pm: Measurements of LNP formulations on the NanoSight (nanoparticle tracking analysis, size concentration), zetasizer ultra (size, concentration, zetapotential) and with PEAQ-DSC (differential scanning calorimetry, stability)
- 4:00 pm: Summary and close
We look forward to bringing together the Nanoparticle and mRNA community in Berlin for a fruitful workshop.
The workshop is free of charge.
