Due to the rising digital transformation of research, sustainable research data management (RDM) is becoming more and more important. Research in the medical and biomedical sciences, as highly data-intensive disciplines, requires increasingly profound competencies in managing and documenting data for long-term storage, archiving, publication, and reuse. The workshop will provide an overview of the various aspects of RDM and of both generic and subject-specific requirements, standards and recommendations, as well as information on relevant location-specific RDM services and infrastructures. In addition, we will introduce best practice examples from the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). There will be plenty of time allocated for discussion and questions.
