Research group Strech

The area of „Meta-Research and Translational Bioethics“ addresses epistemological and ethical issues in biomedical research. In empirical studies, we investigate how measures to promote trustworthiness, utility and ethics in biomedical research (e.g. publication of results, patient participation or informed consent) are directly implemented in research practice. Furthermore, proposals on how the recommendations can be implemented even more effectively and efficiently in practice are being developed in close cooperation with researchers and other relevant stakeholders.
