1st Community Day of Charité BIH Innovation (CBI)

Your exceptional research continuously uncovers new biomedical and clinical insights and drives innovative medical ideas. To ensure your findings have a societal impact, they must be translated into therapies, applications, products, or services. This happens, for instance, through licensing or spin-offs during the technology transfer process. By successfully completing this transfer together, your research results can transform into innovations that create social, economic or medical impact. At Charité BIH Innovation - the joint technology transfer of Charité and BIH (CBI) – we are dedicated to supporting you on this journey.

Dear Scientific Community of Charité and BIH,

We are excited to invite you to our 1st CBI Community Day.

We would like to inspire you in the technology transfer at Charité and BIH. Together, we strive to unlock further innovation potential to enhance long-term medical, economic, and social benefits.

Our program consists of two parts. In the first part, “Your Science Can Make the Difference”, we will discuss the role and value of technology transfer. During a panel discussion, we will explore what motivates you as a scientist to engage in technology transfer and what is needed for successful technology transfer at Charité and BIH.

In the second part, “Paving the Path”, we want to connect with you. What are your reasons and motivations for getting involved in technology transfer? What concerns do you have about not getting involved? In our workshop, we will address specific needs and potential barriers to technology transfer. We will introduce you to CBI's support services, offer solutions, and invite you to discuss with our team.

We will close the CBI Community Day with a networking hour.
