BIH and Charitè have invited all interested parties to guided tours of the construction site in the Ambulanz, Translations- and Innovationszentrum (ATIZ). Several guided tours took place on Friday September 11th 2020. The interest in the new building on the Charitè Campus Mitte is big. More than 90 Charitè and BIH employees took part in the tours. In the future, the ATIZ building will combine under one roof the innovative, patient-oriented and translational research of the BIH with the medical care of the Charitè. The completion of the building is planned for March 2022.

There have been construction site tours on the Campus Buch at the future BIH location Käthe-Beutler-Haus (KBH). The house at Lindenberger Weg 80 bears the name of the pediatrician Käthe Beutler, expelled from Germany in 1935. The groups of the BIH focus area Vascular Biomedicine and BIH Core Facilities Metabolomics and Proteomics will move into the Käthe Beulter House in January 2021. 30 employees of the Charitè, the MDC and the BIH took part in the guided tours on September 29, 2020
