Unconscious bias trainings are a comparatively new method to make unconscious decision-making processes visible and to reflect adequately on them. The trainings aim to enable participants to recognize existing thought patterns and to counteract those patterns if necessary. The workshops are designed for Charité members who are involved in recruitment processes - job interviews and appointment procedures - and other evaluation processes, such as appraisals and awarding of scholarships. Two trainers from EAF Berlin, Diversity in Leadership, conduct the workshops.
