Looking for funding for Translation?

The path from the therapeutic idea to the patient or to the incorporation is a long and cost-intensive process that requires financial support at various stages.

In his Online Entrepreneurial Forum "Funding Opportunities in Germany with a Focus on Translation" (Lecture in German) Volker Erb, who has been working in the field of technology transfer at Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie GmbH for over 20 years, will report on German funding opportunities that support translation and start-ups in the life sciences sector.

In the Online Lecture you will gain insight into the following questions:

  • Which institutions (public or private) support such projects?
  • What are the requirements?
  • How do I find out which ones are most suitable and what are the chances of success?

Lecture Series

We currently offer two public Lecture Series, which alternate each month:

The SPARK-BIH Educational Forum is designed to teach academic scholars the principles of Drug, Device & Diagnostic Development with focus on topics which are relevant for translational medicine.

In our SPARK-BIH Entrepreneurial Forum we recruit key opinion leaders in the fields of Business Planning & Development, Financing and Commercialization to teach entrepreneurial scientists.
