QUEST Fonds for Patient & Stakeholder Engagement
To promote Patient & Stakeholder Engagement (PSE) at Charité, the BIH QUEST Center is establishing a fund for the first time to support researchers in implementing participation activities. All scientists at BIH and Charité are eligible to apply.
Object of the funding
The QUEST PSE Fund aims to support researchers in actively involving patients and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. relatives) in their projects in a meaningful way. We support PSE activities both in already funded research projects, where there are not sufficient resources for PSE, and in the development of new project ideas or the planning of study designs together with patients and other relevant stakeholders.
As of now, researchers from BIH and Charité can apply for funding of up to 2,000 EUR. The funds must be spent by the end of 2022.
Application
To apply for funding from the QUEST PSE fund, please send an email to quest@bih-charite.de briefly describing the ways in which you would like to actively involve patients in your research and the resources (including cost estimates) you will need for the planned activities.
