Human Pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) have emerged as a transformative platform for regenerative therapies, enabling patient-specific disease modeling, drug discovery, and the development of advanced gene and cell-based treatments. Rapid scientific and technological progress is driving innovative approaches for the generation, differentiation, and clinical translation of PSC-derived products.

The RegMed Forum 2027 will showcase cutting-edge developments in hPSC-based regenerative therapies, with a focus on novel gene- and cell-based therapeutic strategies, cell differentiation and functional maturation, scalable GMP-compliant manufacturing, and advanced quality control. Attention will be given to emerging concepts aimed at improving the safety, efficacy, quality assurance, and accessibility of next-generation therapies within the framework of current regulatory requirements.

By bringing together leading experts from academia, innovative start-ups, and industry from Germany and beyond, the RegMed Forum aims to foster interdisciplinarystart exchange on the challenges of clinically translating advanced therapeutic approaches, including advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs), advanced medical devices, and combined products. The Forum seeks to encourage strategic partnerships and accelerate the translation of scientific discoveries into clinical and commercial applications. The sessions will provide a comprehensive overview of current challenges and emerging opportunities in the rapidly evolving hPSC landscape of gene and cell-based therapies.

An accompanying industry exhibition will provide a dedicated platform for companies and technology providers to showcase novel tools, services, and therapeutic approaches, facilitating direct interaction among researchers, clinicians, entrepreneurs, and industry partners.

Our target audience includes representatives from academia, start-ups, and industry, such as translational scientists, clinicians involved in clinical trials, manufacturers, trial sponsors, and providers of innovative gene- and cell-based therapies. In conclusion, the scientific program and industry exhibition will foster networking, interdisciplinary exchange, and knowledge transfer to accelerate the clinical translation of novel therapies across Germany and Europe within the hPSC ecosystem.

This event is organized by the BIH Center for Regenerative Therapies at Charité, Berlin Partner, HealthCapital Berlin-Brandenburg, as well as the German Stem Cell Network (GSCN) e.V.
