National Post-COVID Dataset

The main goal of NAPCODE is to create a customised interoperable dataset for post-COVID condition research (PCC) from the extensive datasets of COVID-19 research. The plan is to provide researchers with a comprehensive dataset containing relevant variables in order to accelerate research results.

Based on data from the National Pandemic Cohort Network (NAPKON), a pseudonymised dataset and an anonymised and synthesised dataset will be developed. In addition, the desired variables will be standardised in accordance with (inter)national terminologies and ontologies. This harmonised approach will emphasise technical and interoperable aspects by mapping all variables to international standards.

Through coordination with standardisation initiatives, we ensure that the NAPCODE variable set is consistent with external standards. Our goal is to optimise data collection and integration in PCC research and to ensure compatibility with existing data sets and international terminologies.
