Talk

Host Genetics of Viral Infections

hosted by Daniel Ibrahim

The talk about explores how genetic variation shapes individual immune responses to viral infections. Using genome-wide analyses and multi-omics approaches, it investigates how rare and common genetic variants influence susceptibility and disease severity, including insights from SARS-CoV-2 research. Understanding these mechanisms can guide personalized health strategies and the development of targeted therapies.
