    Location: Hub 1 | Hall 1.2
    2:15 - 3:00 pm
    Session language: Englisch

Artificial Intelligence (AI) holds tremendous potential to transform clinical data into actionable insights that enhance safety, improve quality, and drive better outcomes across healthcare systems. Yet, turning “insight” into measurable “impact” requires more than algorithms: it depends on robust frameworks spanning ethics, data engineering and standardized observational models.

This session brings together leading experts in digital public health ethics, data engineering, clinical AI, and OMOP / OHDSI standardization to explore pathways for bridging research and routine care in complex health systems.

Through a moderated discussion and interactive participant engagement, the panel will explore how robust governance frameworks, rigorous data standardization, ethical safeguards, and transparent evaluation methodologies can enable responsible and trustworthy AI adoption in healthcare and public health.

Attendees will gain practical and actionable insights to translate multidisciplinary and AI-driven research into measurable improvements in clinical care.

  • April 22, 4:15 pm| #shehealth: What I Wish I Had Known at 25

    Location: Box 1 | Hall 4.2
    4:15 - 5:00 pm
    Session language: German

A #shehealth fishbowl: Three women. Three career stages. One question: What would you say to your 25-year-old self?

This session isn’t a panel discussion—it’s an open fishbowl conversation about careers, mindset, and health in the digital transformation. In the inner circle, Prof. Dr. Sylvia Thun, Irit Nachtigall, and Inga Bergen discuss what truly shaped them: networks, visibility, the courage to embrace uncertainty—and what nobody told them back then. An empty chair in the circle invites the audience to join the conversation. For young women just starting out. And for everyone who still remembers what that felt like.

  • April 22, 5:15 pm| Women's health is not a niche issue!

    Location: Box 2, Hall 6.2
    5:15 - 6:00 pm
    Session language: German

Women make up more than half of the population. Around two-thirds of healthcare workers are women. And yet they are still not given equal representation in healthcare decision-making—let alone receiving gender-specific treatment.

Prevention, diagnosis, and therapy still follow male-dominated study logic. In addition, there are women-specific symptoms and diseases that have not yet received sufficient attention.

In this panel, experts from the fields of science, business, politics, and practice will discuss the need for a separate women's health strategy. Because women's health needs to be sustainably anchored in the healthcare system!

    Location: Stage 5.2, Hall 5.2
    10:15 - 11:00 am
    Session language: German

The medicine of the future must not only recognize gender-specific differences, but also make targeted use of them—for better care, greater participation, and new business models. This session focuses on the question of how medical research and care can be made more inclusive, for example by taking into account the female cycle and other biological differences. Together, we will discuss how gender-sensitive medicine can become a source of innovation – for patients, professionals, and the healthcare industry.
